Transition in vicars began November 1

Message from Father Cal:

A very important announcement is a change with our vicars beginning November 1st. We will be saying goodbye to Fr. Tony Kitema, who has been with us since July 1, and we will be greeting Fr. Quy Duong, who is a trilingual priest (English, Spanish, and Vietnamese). Please read the accompanying letter from Archbishop Etienne for the full announcement regarding this change. [Click either button below for English and Spanish versions.] Let us pray for both Fr. Tony and Fr. Quy during this time of transition in their lives.

All Saints Parish began its 2026 Stewardship of Treasure campaign in late October. In the coming weeks, please reflect on how you might return a portion of your blessings given by God to our Parish community. Your pledge for the coming year supports our mission of helping others encounter Christ in meaningful ways.

One Parish Planning

Now underway

Our Parish Family is made up of the following communities of faith:

All Saints Parish and School

St. Martin of Tours Parish and Holy Rosary Bilingual Academy (Fife)

and

Sacred Heart Parish (Tacoma)

Under the leadership of our Pastor (Father Cal Christiansen) and Parochial Vicars (Fathers Dexter Dais, Quy Duong and Gilberto Mora Tapia), our Parish Family is currently working together to become 1 canonical Parish by 2027 through One Parish Planning. This effort is taking place across the Archdiocese of Seattle to reinvigorate and renew our local Church, in response to the needs of the people and the realities of today.

October 2025 update

Thank you for taking the time to complete the surveys. We appreciate it so much. God bless you!

- Vivian Shannon, Parish Family #34 PFAC Chair

We received over 1,000 submitted surveys from across our 3 Parishes. Each household's participation helps us more accurately define who are we now, for later discernment of who do we want to become during the One Parish Planning process. (See Stages 2 and 3 of the timeline below.) Data is currently being collated, and results will be shared within our Parish Family in the coming weeks.

What are 'PFLT' and 'PFAC'?

Key to the successful implementation of One Parish Planning are 2 groups consisting of representatives from our 3 Parishes: PFLT (Parish Family Leadership Team; comprised of Parish staff) and PFAC (Parish Family Advisory Council; comprised of volunteers). Please pray that the Holy Spirit continues to guide these consultative bodies.

Upcoming events

    November 15

Please join our Parish Family for a special Jubilee Pilgrimage to St. James Cathedral on Saturday, November 15! With a multicultural Rosary and bilingual Mass included, this is an opportunity to celebrate the diverse expressions of our shared faith as Pilgrims of Hope.

Archdiocese launches

new brand

In August 2025, the Archdiocese of Seattle launched updated branding to commemorate its 175th Anniversary, and to recognize the re-envisioning of our regional Church through Partners in the Gospel. Centered around the radical love of Christ, the new brand is meant to continually remind followers of the core of our identity: hopeful and caring sharers of His Gospel with all.
