The Sacrament of Confirmation

"I wish not merely to be called Christian, but also to be Christian."

St. Ignatius of Antioch

The Sacrament of Confirmation is the third of the Sacraments of Initiation, along with the Sacraments of Baptism and Holy Communion. Through Confirmation, Catholics are especially strengthened by the Holy Spirit to do God's will in building His kingdom on earth.

Confirmation typically takes place in the spring. Here at All Saints Parish, we offer Confirmation Prep programs for teens as well as for adults. One must meet the eligibility requirements as outlined below in order to be accepted into the confirmation prep program.

  • Confirmation Prep for Youth

    Program begins in September

Fees: $40 for materials plus $90 for Confirmation retreat

Our Confirmation prep program is now accepting applications from students in grades 10 through 12, including students who were not able to participate in a faith formation program over the past year. Students preparing for the sacrament of Confirmation will need to participate in the Confirmation prep program beginning in the Fall and ending in the Spring. During their year of preparation, students will also be required to be active participants in the life of the church, whether it is through participation in Quest and/or volunteering in one of our many parish ministries. There are two overnight retreats and a prayer experience offered as part of your preparation. Fees for materials and retreats do apply. Scholarships are also available.
