Journey of Faith

(Christian Initiation for Adults and Families)

Journey of Faith is an opportunity for adults and families to learn more about Catholicism. Classes begin on September 7, 2025, and those interested are encouraged to register by September 1. Click the button below to get started!

OCIA

For those feeling called to join or return to the Catholic Church, the journey begins with OCIA (Order of Christian Initiation for Adults; formerly known as RCIA, or

Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults). Contact Morningstar Stevenson at our Parish Office by calling (253) 845-7521, or send an email.


The formation process begins when you are ready (all ages and backgrounds welcome), and concludes with your initiation into the Church. The more formal portion of the process begins in mid-September and continues through the Easter Season. (We do have distinct times of the year which are more formal in terms of content, but you are able to join at any time during the year.) The topics covered include Scripture, Tradition and our Creed. 


There is no cost to join and no obligation to complete the program. It is simply an opportunity to learn about our Faith, ask questions, build friendships, and most importantly, cultivate a personal relationship with God. We can't wait to meet you!
